A Little Bureaucratic Adventure

Moving to Cyprus is an exciting journey, but before you can fully embrace your new island lifestyle, there’s one important administrative task to take care of: getting the Yellow Slip in Cyprus.

When I first arrived in Cyprus, I was looking forward to indulging in fresh halloumi, lazy afternoons by the beach, and long sunset strolls. But, as every expat soon discovers, there’s paperwork to tackle first.

Armed with my paperwork, I arrived at the immigration office early, determined to make the process as smooth as possible. Thankfully, preparation paid off, and it was easier than I expected.

To help you avoid unnecessary delays and frustration, here’s a step-by-step guide to getting your Yellow Slip in Cyprus without the stress:

Getting your Yellow Slip in Cyprus is like making halloumi—it takes patience, the right ingredients (documents) and a bit of insider knowledge to get it right.
