Limassol’s Carnival is the biggest and most famous on the island, with origins dating back over a century. Heavily inspired by Venetian and ancient Greek traditions, it has grown into a spectacular event filled with music, dance, and extravagant costumes.
Held before Lent, the festival historically allowed people to indulge before the fasting season began. Today, it’s all about enjoying delicious food, celebrating with friends, and taking part in the grand masquerade. The streets come alive with serenaders, colourful floats, and enthusiastic revellers, making Limassol the ultimate carnival hotspot.
Limassol Carnival Program 2025
Kicking off the festivities, the ‘Flame King’ leads a vibrant parade through Limassol’s streets, starting at Grigoris Auxentiou Square. Expect fireworks, music, and plenty of excitement.
Designed for families, this event located at Story Club (Monfik) on Saturday from 2pm to 9pm. Features international DJ Mario Louka and ILLEVEN and Dayah Modo, local performers, craft zones, and play areas for all ages.
Step into a magical world at Opus Club in Limassol. With top DJs: Dino G, Manos Scoulos, and Mr. Unkwn. Immerse in Wonderland theme, this is a carnival party not to be missed.
Step back in time at the Retro Carnival Party at Carob Mill at 10pm! This throwback event is all about nostalgic beats, vintage vibes, and an unforgettable night of dancing. With Dj Kyriakos spinning the best retro hits, expect an electric atmosphere filled with classic tunes and carnival energy.

Get ready for an electrifying night at Guaba Beach Bar! Scarabeo brings its legendary carnival vibes, transforming the venue into a Wonderland of music, dance, and energy. Expect a thrilling lineup of DJs, immersive visuals, and an atmosphere buzzing with carnival magic. Tickets: €20 (includes 1 drink)
The highlight of Limassol’s Carnival, the Grand Carnival Parade, brings together thousands of participants, dazzling costumes, and elaborately decorated floats. Starting in Makarios Avenue, Limassol at 1pm, marching bands, dance groups, and enthusiastic spectators create an electrifying atmosphere throughout the city.
Close out the Carnival celebrations at Guaba Beach Bar with the ultimate party at Creole x Carnival! Featuring an incredible DJ lineup: VEIRA, DJ ENGLEZOS, DJ LOUW, WHITE T, dazzling performances, and an electric atmosphere, this is the perfect way to end the festival in style. For the third year in a row, Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort is hosting at 3.30pm spectacular Carnival Parade, bringing vibrant energy, music, and dazzling colours to the stunning coastal setting. Expect mesmerising costumes and theatrical performances, live music and dance acts. A fun-filled atmosphere for the whole family.

The Akamas Municipality will host a festive celebration on Friday, February 23, 2025, along Michalaki Kyprianu Avenue, bringing the community together for a vibrant event filled with music, dance, and joyful activities.
The Pafos Municipality invites you to join the Paphos Carnival 2025 Parade on Saturday, March 1, at 3:00 PM at Griva Digeni Avenue. Get ready for a lively celebration as the streets fill with music, colours, and festive energy, with teams and floats creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
The Nicosia Carnival Parade will take place on Friday, February 23, 2025, at 11:30 AM along Kerinia Avenue, bringing excitement and colour to the heart of the city.
The Larnaca Carnival Parade will take place on Sunday, 23rd of February, 2025, at 11:00 AM along Finikoudes Promenade, bringing a festive atmosphere to the city’s iconic seaside location.
Step into the carnival spirit on Saturday, 1st March 2025 at 10am with a magical musical adventure for the little ones! Designed especially for babies and toddlers (0-5 years old) with their accompanying adults, this session is all about the joy of sound and rhythm—no words needed, just pure creativity and fun!
