Nestled in the heart of Kouklia, we can find a hidden gem in Paphos. During my visit, I indulged in a bowl of homemade borscht with veal, a rich, soul-warming dish that perfectly balanced deep, savoury flavours with a touch of freshness. Paired with their apple cinnamon pancakes, it was a comforting meal that felt both nostalgic and exciting.
To top off the experience, Alex, one of the owners, surprised me with a gift—a jar of their delicious homemade blueberry sauce for meats, that was the perfect touch for enhancing the flavours of my souvla for Tsiknopempti. That small gesture reflected the warmth and generosity that make EDA Family Café feel like home.
The name EDA (еда) translates to “food” in Russian, but it carries an even deeper meaning—it represents Elena, Daria and Alex, the three passionate founders behind this cosy eatery.
